Robson Homes is working on the second site for their Encanto development, to be called The Grove.

Pulte and the city of San Jose are working on the plan to improve the cul de sac at Campbell and Newhall. Bollards and a chain will be added to prevent vehicles from driving over the grass and sidewalk.

Redevelopment of 1181 Campbell Ave - Barry Swensen Builders (currently the Zazzle Property). They want to turn this into Transit Oriented Development (20+ units/acre). This leaves the property open-ended for a potentially high density development. Previously, Swensen requested 55 units/acre, but they have no current plan and are requesting the 20+ designation for flexibility in their future decisions. Although Zazzle has a lease on the property until 2010, the neighborhood members present at the meeting expressed their concerns with this high density potential, the necessity of following this project for years, and the issues of traffic, parking, and environment related to a project this large. The neighbors expressed the desire to see the development request a 12-25/acre designation to match the nearby Robson Homes developments, so that it would fit in with the neighborhood better and cause less of an impact.

To see the properties still under discussion, see the map.
